Monica Peckford - Powell River Realtor
Monica has always loved Powell River Real Estate and has all the homes for sale in Powell River, BC. Her late father Willy Ostensen was a very successful REALTOR® in his time and owned the brokerage before her current managing broker and brother, Ron Ostensen. “Real Estate is in the blood”. Monica was born in Melbourne Australia and moved to Canada at the age of 9 with her family. Monica graduated from Max Cameron and headed off to the big city of Vancouver and Toronto before coming back with her husband Mark and daughter Ashley. In Toronto Monica studied Marketing and Business Administration which has proved to be a great asset. Monica and Mark have three grown children Ashley, Kyle & Rachel, and are hoping to one day have grand-children. Mark has recently retired and will be assisting Monica in her new venture. Monica Peckford was first licensed as a REALTOR® in 1995. In 2001 Monica transferred her license to become licensed under the Mortgage Broker’s Act and has been consecutively working as a Mortgage Professional with Invis since then. Monica has recently become dual licensed as a REALTOR® and Mortgage Broker and can offer a unique service to her clients as a One Stop Real Estate and Mortgage Shop.
